2. Personal data processed

Browsing data and technical logs

The IT systems and procedures required to operate the website collect data whose transmission is inherent in the use of the Internet, including IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, referring address, browser and device type, operating system, request outcome, and similar technical information. This data is used to provide and protect the website, diagnose issues, and prevent abuse.

Data submitted through the contact form

The form collects name, email address, telephone number, and message, together with confirmation that this notice has been read. Users are asked not to include special-category or unnecessary personal data in the message.

Data provided voluntarily

Sending emails or other communications to the contact details provided entails the processing of contact data and the information contained in the communication, solely for the purpose of handling the request.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Responding to enquiries and quotation requests

Data submitted through the form and other communications is processed to respond, provide information, prepare quotations, and carry out pre-contractual activities requested by the user. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Operation, security, and protection of rights

Technical data may be processed to ensure stability and security, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect the Controller’s rights. The legal basis is legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, balanced against the rights of data subjects.

Legal obligations

Data may be processed when necessary to comply with regulatory, tax, or accounting obligations, or with lawful requests from public authorities. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Measurement and marketing

Google Analytics 4 and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, when enabled, are used for statistics, conversion measurement, and campaign evaluation. Processing and access to non-essential identifiers take place solely on the basis of consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the legislation applicable to terminal equipment. Consent may be withdrawn at any time as easily as it was given.

Data collected through the form is not used for newsletters or direct marketing communications without specific, separate consent.

4. Services and tools used or prepared for use

Contact form – Contact Form 7

The website uses Contact Form 7, a WordPress component that handles form submissions. The data entered is sent to the Controller in order to respond to the request; the form does not use it for its own advertising purposes.

Google Fonts

The website loads fonts provided by Google. The request may disclose the IP address and technical information about the browser and device to Google. For users in the European Economic Area, the relevant provider is Google Ireland Limited. Further information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Google Maps

Some pages embed Google Maps. When the map is displayed, Google may receive usage data, the IP address, device information, and identifiers according to the user’s and service’s settings. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4

Google Tag Manager is prepared for the centralised management of website tags; the actual processing depends on the tags configured. Google Analytics 4 may be used to produce aggregate statistics on website use. When enabled, these tools must be configured so that they do not operate before consent is given where processing is not strictly necessary. Google Universal Analytics is not used.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

The website is prepared for installation of the LinkedIn Insight Tag, provided to European users by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. When enabled with prior consent, the tag may process the visited and referring URLs, IP address, device and browser characteristics, date and time, interaction events, and pseudonymous identifiers in order to measure conversions, analyse audiences, and evaluate LinkedIn campaigns. LinkedIn may process data for its own purposes in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Link to the LinkedIn page

The footer also contains a standard link to Tecno Verniciature’s LinkedIn profile. No social widget is loaded from LinkedIn unless the link is opened; after clicking it, processing takes place on LinkedIn’s website under its applicable terms.

Font Awesome icons are served locally by the website and, merely by loading the icons, do not require a direct connection to Fonticons servers. No Meta/Facebook tools are present.

6. Retention, processing methods, and recipients

Data is processed using IT tools and appropriate organisational measures designed to prevent unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or unlawful disclosure.

  • Contact-request data is retained for the time necessary to handle the request and any resulting relationships; it may be retained for longer where required to comply with legal obligations or protect rights.
  • Technical logs are retained for the periods necessary for security, maintenance, and infrastructure management.
  • Data processed on the basis of consent is retained until consent is withdrawn or for the period configured in the relevant service, without prejudice to any additional period required to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

Data may be accessed by the Controller’s authorised personnel and by providers of technical, hosting, maintenance, IT support, communication, or consultancy services, appointed as processors where required. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities in the cases provided by law. Data is not disseminated.

7. Transfers to countries outside the EEA

The use of international providers, including companies in the Google and LinkedIn groups, may involve the processing of data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers take place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR, on the basis of an applicable adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for participating organisations, or Standard Contractual Clauses together with any supplementary measures.

8. Data subject rights

In the cases and within the limits set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR, data subjects may request access to their data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and portability; object to processing based on legitimate interest; and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Requests may be sent to info@tecno-verniciature.com. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority.

9. Updates to this notice

The Controller may update this notice when the services, purposes, or applicable legislation change. The date of the latest update is shown at the beginning of the page. The activation of new services, including CRM systems, newsletters, or further marketing activities, will require a review and, where necessary, an update to this notice and the consent mechanisms.

Notice provided pursuant to Articles 12 and 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
